The soft cotton warp for this scarf came from my favorite dyer, Kathrin Weber of Blazing Shuttles. It’s woven with a chocolate cotton/linen blend weft. The inspiration for these scarves and cowl was our trip to Lake Atitlán in Guatemala. I bought a backstrap loom that had a scarf on it that was similar in structure.
Care: Hand wash in cool water. Do not wring out. Lay it over a rod to drip dry, light press with pressing cloth on cotton setting, as needed. For the rod, you can use a piece of pvc or broomstick. Mine fits nicely over my shower enclosure. You can also place a towel over a clothesline to cushion the scarf so there is no crease for the line.
Mailed via Priority after carefully rolling around a tube and packaging in a way to fully protect the cloth.
