Silken Smoke Cowl in Peruvian Baby Cashemere from Elann. I cast this on as soon as I saw it the other day. Quick and satisfying knit. I only used two balls of the Baby Cashmere. It’s about 8″ long. Could probably have used one more ball, but I’m good with this size.

Jean,
Its gorgeous! I’m glad that it came out great for you. Did you take the picture as well?

Jean, that’s beautiful. I have a couple of spare balls of baby cash and I wondered what to make with them, you’ve inspired me. Love the pics too.
That is really pretty. I need to go find something pretty for it right now.
Jean, how many balls of Baby C did it take? I am knitting one now in black but wish I had BC in the house. So soft! It’s beautiful.
That’s really beautiful.
So pretty!
(off to check out the pattern)
It’s nice to see your dreamy knitting in these wonderful pictures. I bet you get non-stop compliments when you wear it. It’s simply stunning!
Truly beautiful and elegant. I need one, too!
OH! I love it! It is going to keep your neck so luxuriously warm!
That is just breath-taking.
I’d better go grab that pattern, too, while I’m thinking about it. Like I need another project at this moment, but still…
Must. Make. Cowl.
I’d better start practicing knitting in my sleep…
BEEUTIFUL!!!!!
Very pretty and I bet super soft to wear!
It’s gorgeous. I love the Baby Cashmere. I like the color you chose. The lighter whites/offwhites look very nice when I see it in other people’s knitting, but I never think about picking up a few balls of that color.
So glad I saw this on Ravelry. Have been thinking about making some as Christmas gifts. Yours is gorgeous…love the thought of using cashmere!!
This is lovely! I just saw this pattern in Elann’s email newsletter and followed the Ravelry link to your blog post. You did a great job! 🙂
Do you still happen to have the pattern? I checked Elann.com and the pattern is no longer listed! 🙁
